Our Humble Beginnings

It all began in Topeka, 1971. Richard Brown, or 'Brownie' as most called him, laid the foundation for what would become a pillar of tree care in our community. Brown's Tree Service wasn't just another name in the directory; it was a promise of dedication and quality.

Leading Through Innovation

From the early days, we showed that Brown's was different. Brownie, Troy and Travis were among the first in this area to be Certified Arborists and as such they introduced tools and techniques that many hadn't seen before. Brown's has had many firsts - they were the first to use a grapple and a crane. In Troy's ownership which has now been 23 years - he was the first tree service to purchase a crane and a backyard bucket With Troy at the helm for over two decades, that drive to innovate hasn’t waned one bit.
